Meet our Team

Dr. Jun Zhao
Dr Jun Zhao completed her medical degree in China in 1986 and undertook training in Cardiology for 10 years. Since coming to Australia in 1996, she has continued to expand her cardiology training working at both the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the University of Sydney.
In 2003 Dr Zhao completed her PhD with special interest in Cardiovascular research at Newcastle University. Dr Zhao has worked in numerous hospitals in the Hunter New England region including James Fletcher and Morisset hospitals as a Psychiatric registrar.
Dr Zhao is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and obtained Fellowship with the Australian Medical Acupuncture College in 2016. Dr Zhao is also involved with Newcastle University’s medical program and provides teaching and mentorship for medical students. Dr Zhao has admitting rights at Singleton Hospital.

Dr. Aijaz Majeed MD
Dr “AJ” graduated in 2001 with his medical degree in Europe and has been in the Australian Medical workforce since 2006. He finished his internship from the Royal Adelaide Hospital in SA and has vast experience in general medicine and its subspecialties, both in Adelaide Health, SA and Hunter New England Health, NSW. Dr AJ is experienced in skin excisions and is committed to providing excellent care to his patients in the Singleton community.

Dr. Chipo Moyo
Dr Chipo Moyo obtained her medical degree from the University of Newcastle in 2010, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has ten years of experience working in the Hunter New England Area Health services with special interests in Emergency and General Medicine. She joined our practice in 2022.
She is motivated to help patients to learn about their health so they can live a full and happy life.

Dr. Nishika Pathirana
Dr Nishika is interested in all aspects of general practice and aims to provide good quality holistic care to her patients. She has a special interest in child and adolescent health and women’s health.
Dr Nishika is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and she has more than five years of experience in the hospital system, including the Central Coast local health district, before joining general practice in 2021.

Dr Liman Luo (Dr Daisy)
Dr Daisy graduated with her Medical Degree in 1983, from University of Medicine China.
She has been working in general medicine in both China and Australia.
In Australia she has worked at the Concord Hospital, Sydney Private Hospital and Minchinbury Private Hospital.
